Ubtan
The same preparation. The same purpose. Made fresh.
Ubtan is not a new idea. It has been prepared in Indian homes for centuries — before weddings, after illness, as part of the weekly ritual of caring for the body. Grains to exfoliate. Clays to cleanse. Herbs to nourish. Mixed with water or milk, applied to the skin, and rinsed away.
This is that preparation. Made in small batches, with the same ingredients that have always been used. Nothing added to extend shelf life. Nothing removed for convenience.
Mix it fresh before each use. That is part of the ritual.

- Free from preservatives — mixed fresh each time
Key Ingredients
- Grains — Gentle physical exfoliation, traditional to Ayurvedic skin care
- Clays — Draw out impurities and refine the skin's texture
- Herbs — Nourishing, skin-supporting botanicals used in Ayurveda for generations
How to Use
Take a small amount of Ubtan into your palm. Add a few drops of water, rose water, or milk to form a paste. Apply to damp skin in gentle circular motions. Leave for 2–3 minutes if desired. Rinse thoroughly. Use 2–3 times a week, or as your skin requires.
Suitable For
All skin types. Particularly beneficial for dull, uneven, or congested skin. Those with very sensitive or reactive skin should patch test first.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place away from moisture. Do not introduce water into the container. Use within 6 months of opening.
A Note on Ingredients
Ubtan works because of what it contains — not because of what has been added to it. The absence of preservatives is not a limitation. It is the point.
